Boots On Ground Field Services was founded by Grant McInnis and Lisa Jones, bringing together complementary backgrounds in forestry, science, environmental management, and field data collection.

Their vision was simple: build a company capable of delivering high-quality forestry and field services while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and accuracy in every project.

Today, that same vision continues to guide our work—whether collecting data in remote forests, supporting government field programs, or helping clients navigate complex forestry projects with confidence.

Grant McInnis brings more than 15 years of experience in the forestry industry, with extensive hands-on knowledge in field operations, forest measurements, surveying, and project execution.

Lisa Jones brings a strong academic background in science, with expertise in forestry, environmental management, and data collection. Her technical knowledge and project support experience strengthen both field operations and project planning.

Together, they lead Boots On Ground Field Services with a shared commitment to quality work, practical solutions, and preserving natural resources for future generations.
